FAITH Riders

White: God's light and glory, in which all darkness disappears and there are no shadows.

Red:   The blood of Jesus, which cleanses the sinner of all sin and makes him or her the righteous saint of God because of its being shed at the Cross. Salvation to us is free, but its cost is priceless. It represents Jesus.

Blue:   Regal, the color of royalty. Our sins cost the life of the King of Kings, and He gave it willingly so we could have the way of salvation. We are the only created being offered this gift.

Gold:   Purity. Gold can only be made pure by passing through a crucible's fire until the impurities are removed and the goldsmith can see his reflection on the surface of the metal. This is a picture of what happens when a sinner passes through the blood of Jesus Christ.

The Cross:   The symbol of where the Prince of Glory died. The Cross on our emblem is empty -- the price of salvation is paid in full. Our Savior, Jesus Christ, ascended to heaven and is seated
at the right hand of the Father. He is our advocate to the Father, seeing that the covenant provisions are being ministered to us.

The Flag:   One God; a nation set apart as long as we give glory to the God who blesses the
nations.

The Stars:   There are only seven complete stars in the blazon. Seven is the symbolic number
in the Scripture that describes perfection and completeness. Everything in life is complete
in Jesus Christ.

The Eagle:   A bird of prey that represents power, justice, and God's forthcoming wrath upon the unholy.

F.A.I.T.H.

F is for FORGIVENESS
We cannot have eternal life and heaven without God's forgiveness.
"In whom {meaning Jesus} we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins"
   Ephesians 1:7

A is for AVAILABLE
Forgiveness is available. It is available for All.
"For God so loved the world, that He gave is only begotten Son, that whosever believeth in him should not perish,but have everlasting life" John 3:16
But Not Automatic.
"Not everyone that saith unto Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven" Matt 7:21

I is for IMPOSSIBLE
It is impossible for God to allow sin into heaven.
Because of who He is: God is loving and just. His judgment is against sin.
   "He shall have judgment without mercy" James2:13
Because of who we are: Every person is a sinner.
   "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23

      But how can a sinful person enter heaven, when God allows no sin?

T is for TURN
Turn means repent.
Turn from something-sin and self.
   "Except ye repent, ye shall all like-wise perish" Luke 13:3
Turn to Someone; trust Christ only.
   "If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved" Romans 10:9

H is for HEAVEN
Heaven is eternal life.
Here....
   "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly" John 10:10 Hereafter....
   "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself;
that where I am, there you may be also" John 14:3
How....
How can a person have God's forgiveness, heaven, and eternal life, and Jesus as personal
Savior and Lord?
By trusting in Christ and asking Him for forgiveness.

Take the step of faith described by another meaning for FAITH: Forsaking All I Trust Him.
Then tell someone about the important decision you have made.
Grow in your faith and enjoy new friends in Christ by becoming part of His church and
attending the Sunday School class a church has just for you.
