Daryl joined UBC as the Student and Missions Pastor in August of 2006 after serving ten years as a bi-vocational youth pastor at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Senoia, GA. God has developed a passion in Daryl’s heart for international mission work through a short-term mission trip to Guatemala in 2004, which has led to multiple trips to share the Gospel in other Nations, including Cambodia and Venezuela. Outside of church Daryl enjoys spending time with his wife Beth, son Micah, and a number of outdoor activities including running, hiking, and fishing. His favorite bible verse is 2 Corinthians 5:21, “For our sake He made Him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God”.

Shannon joined Union in October 2007 as the first church secretary. “I have the great pleasure of serving the pastor, staff, members, and community in a wide variety of ways. Most of what I do is administrative, but every day brings new adventures!” Shannon enjoys photography and being outdoors. She became a certified Biblical Counselor in 2022. Shannon and her husband, Roy, have five grown sons and eight grandchildren. Her favorite bible verses are Romans 8:38-39, “For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which in in Christ Jesus our Lord”.
